The Pumpkin Contest

Blu Domain always has these silly/fun/great contests usually involving taking a photo of something completely random, but you can win some really awesome prizes. (remember this?)  Anyway, they had a jack-o-lantern carving contest, where the winners won a new Blu template, but then they also had another jack-o-lantern carving contest where the winner wins $1700 tuition to attend the Anti-Workshop in Las Vegas.  If you’re a wedding photographer and you don’t know about the Anti-workshop, then click the link and find out!!  The theme of the contest was to carve the “anti-jack-o-lantern”…something different from the norm.  I soooo wanted to win this, but I didn’t 😦  But I don’t feel so bad because the winner had a great entry, and he deserves the win!  And I’ll get to the Anti-workshop someday for sure!

I did, however, get my pumpkin listed as one of the favorites, so yay!  I thought a Christmas theme was as opposite to traditional Halloween as possible, plus it’s my favorite holiday.  Here’s my entry:

And I got a little carried away with all of the pumpkins…I decided to just go with the theme.  I bet my neighbors think I’m nuts:

  1. I thought that was yours! I just finished looking at the photos and told my hubby…”I bet that’s Chantal’s”! Way to go! Congrats!
