Police Car in Snow

Well, I have the new camera and a new computer with all new software. Now all I have to do is figure out how to use everything. I’ve got a good grasp of the camera, I just haven’t customized the settings on it yet. As far as the computer goes, figuring out how to manage my images is a challenge. I’ve got the new version of Windows, which is really cool, but there’s a bunch of other stuff on the pc that came with it, I don’t know if I need it or not.

And forget about Photoshop. It took me an hour just to figure out how to resize an image…let alone where to put it afterwards.

And with a 4yr old whining and pulling on me all day….and a 9yr old home sick with a fever, I need a nap!!

I can’t really tell if the above image is color correct or not. I think my monitor needs to be calibrated. How does it look?

  1. A little dark and faded. But it could be that the day’s natural lighting was like that. has a bar on top to help adjust your monitor 🙂

  2. I agree with Dave… somewhat dull colors, but very well could be what the weather was!

Photo management… check the free download demo of Lightroom.
