How to Make Muffins

Filed under: News — chantal @ 11:16 am

I shot this series while making muffins with my daughter, Cherie (age 3).
As an alternative to traditional ‘school portraits’ this year, I decided to shoot my kids’ portraits myself, and I wanted to do them in a natural setting, doing something they like to do, rather than the regular, stiffly posed pictures. I want to capture the moment, and preserve the age that they are right now.

I’m not sure any of these ‘muffin’ photos really fit what I’m looking for, but they are so cute, I couldn’t resist posting.

  1. I love these and I love that you’re doing the ‘school’photos yourself. When I look back on my school pictures, I don’t even recognize myself. I am not a sit-down-be-quiet-and-smile kinda girl so when I do that, it’s not be at all. Oh, and your daughter is beautiful!
