Thanks so much for the comments & encouragement, everyone. I’m definitely going forward with the project. I know it’s too important of a personal project to not keep it going, and it’s good to know others are interested as well!

Chantal, I’m interested in seeing your book along with reading your writings about those 30 days. I want to see it!!! Personal is good. I believe it adds another dimension to the book. BTW, this picture is a wonderful family moment.

I think the fear of our photos not being interesting to anyone else is common. Not just when photographing family. I’ve on occasion wondered why anyone would be interested in my portraits of people, who are strangers to just about everyone who might view my book.

Those people don’t even have the added interest of at least being my family.

So, if it helps, I’ll step up and say ‘I’m interested in seeing your book and your pictures of your family in this personal and difficult moment’

Make the book. I want to see it.
