Since I have three kids of my own, who all were born with a camera in their faces, one would think that I would be the absolute expert at photographing kids. But nothing could have prepared me for this family. My friend Sarah is the proud mother of four (FOUR!!!) beautiful little girls—ages 4 and under! Sarah is a saint, and an incredible mother with patience unlike anything I have ever seen! Her little girls are so cute, and so full of energy, I have no idea how she keeps up with them…but she does, and with so much class.
Her oldest daughter, Riley, is best friends with my daughter, Cherie, and I love when we all can get together. I’m completely in love with these girls, so when Sarah asked if I would photograph them, I jumped at the chance. But getting four little girls —2 of which are 1 yr old twins— to sit still proved to be a challenge. The results, though, were pretty darn cute. We did the shoot in two sessions, which was great because I was really able to catch the babies in different moods, and we also managed to get a few family shots in as well. This one, I think, is my absolute favorite. It’s Avery, running away from me, but I think it really captures the spirit of the entire shoot….craziness and fun!!
