Duke Ellington & John Coltrane – In A Sentimental Mood
I’m just loving this right now.
My Dad listened to jazz all the time. Growing up, we always heard Coltrane and Miles Davis, Ella, Oscar Peterson, to name a few. The music found its way into my subconsciousness, and now, 20 or so years later, I often hear these melodies in my head. They comfort and inspire me, and provide the soundtrack to my imagination

There’s people that still like the classics out there… phew.

Yes, indeed there are!
Coltrane, Miles, Ella, Sarah, Dinah–so many were very much a part of my childhood, my life and very much still today. I must play Kind of Blue 20 times a month and every time there is something new I hear. It’s amazing!
