We interviewed two photographers for our wedding. We chose one just because his style fit our needs more, but we wound up using the other for a smaller job. Never underestimate the long term impact of a positive encouter.

Shooting weddings will toughen you up for anything that anyone will throw at you in life!
I learned that one a long time ago.

Keep at it!

Thanks for the comment!
The surprising part of it all is seeing how little this rejection bothers me. Yes, I would have LOVED to shoot this wedding, but I know that more opportunities will present themselves, so I'm not worried about it.

There was a time when a simple rejection would have sent me questioning my worth as a photographer.

It's nice to see one's own growth, both photographically and personally.

I most certainly know the feeling!
Although I don't shoot weddings, I deal with rejections on a regular basis, and learn from them.
But, those rejections are becoming fewer and fewer as I move along.

Just keep shooting, continue to learn, ... and enjoy yourself while you are at it!
